A man was rushed to the hospital with a leg injury, believed to be a gunshot wound, after a shooting in Manchester city centre. Six men, aged 23 to 26, were arrested on suspicion of affray and firearms offences. The incident occurred around 5 am on Saturday when police were called to an address on Richmond Street following reports of a disturbance. Superintendent Stephen Wiggins assured the community that this was a targeted incident and there was no wider threat to the general public.
